Executive Leadership Team
Angela Mederos, President
Mrs. Mederos is the current President of COA DC LLC where she leads 500 employees toward excellence in the janitorial cleaning industry. With Mrs. Mederos at its helm, COA has earned a reputation as the most reliable, responsive and thorough cleaning company in the industry. Mrs. Mederos is a trusted industry expert in all aspects of janitorial cleaning operations and related supporting services of facilities management and operations. COA proudly services over 10 million square feet in the Metro area.
Prior to becoming COA’s President, Mrs. Mederos served as its Vice President of Sales & Marketing for eight years. Before COA, Mrs. Mederos was the top marketing representative for seven consecutive years at Humana and Kaiser Permanente. She also served two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic and three years as a leadership trainer for the Peace Corps in Costa Rica—experiences she credits to this day with refining her strong leadership skills. Mrs. Mederos holds a degree in Public Relations and Spanish from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
William J. “Jim” Robison, Executive Vice President
Mr. Robison has been involved in Building Operations and Maintenance for the past 26 years. Most recently Mr. Robison transformed Trimark Corporations Mechanical Construction Division into one of the areas finest HVAC and plumbing service contractors supporting premier Property Management firms. He was formerly with Northrop Grumman Corporation, a Fortune 100 global defense and technology company for four years. Mr. Robison was responsible for overseeing all aspects of HVAC maintenance and operations at Northrop Grumman’s Northern Virginia properties, including numerous mission critical facilities. Previously, Mr. Robison was employed by TRW, Inc. in similar capacities for 19 years.
Mr. Robison is a Licensed Virginia Master HVAC Mechanic, Master Gasfitter, and Master Plumber. He is a Certified Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) and holds numerous designations in the fields of Building Control Systems, Building Design and Maintenance, Energy Management, Boilers, Heating Systems and Applied Mathematics from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
Management Team
Brandon Robison, Service Manager
Mr. Robison has been in the commercial and residential plumbing industry for 10 years. He joined Services Of America in 2010 as our Service Manager for our Mechanical Services Division. Mr. Robison is responsible for over-site of the Operations for our HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical service offerings. Prior to joining Services OF America, Mr. Robison was Lead Plumber at Trimark Corporation. Mr. Robison began his career with R&R General Contractors specializing in plumbing, construction, design-build, additions, kitchen and bath remodels and basement finishes.
Mr. Robison is a licensed VA Journeyman Plumber and is a certified VA Backflow Prevention Device Worker.
Shaun Comer, Operations Manager
Mr. Comer has been providing facility services for 11 plus years. In 2001 Mr. Comer joined the Facility Maintenance Team as a subcontractor at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems where he was the Chief Engineer overseeing 12 locations totaling more than 10 million sq ft. Mr. Comer was the Chief Engineer at CBS and Operations Manager at Trimark Corporation. Mr. Comer joined Services Of America in 2010 as our Operations Manager for our Facility Services Division overseeing the following services: Building Engineers, Day Porters, Event & Conference Room Set Up, Fire Watch, Mail Room Services, Parking Garage Maintenance and Repro Graphics/Copy Services. Additionally Mr. Comers Team(s) provide Custom Tailored Contracts and On-Call Services.
Cristi Scalph; Manager, Administrative Support Services
Ms. Scalph joined Services Of America in 2011 as Manager, Administrative Support Services overseeing all aspects of staff support services. Ms. Scalph has 12 plus years of experience in residential and commercial construction services providing her with the knowledge and depth needed to run the daily office operations. Formerly Ms. Scalph was a Project Manager with TSA Construction for 2 years working closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors and field staff to coordinate all phases of building and remodeling. Additionally Ms. Scalph was an Electrical Project Manager with The PBM-Limbach Group for 8 years.
